EPD (Environmental Product Declaration) is a declaration that represents a unified methodology for assessing and publishing the environmental impacts of construction products, covering the entire life cycle from raw material extraction to disposal.
SALVIS is the only company in Slovakia that offers Type III EPD processing in accordance with STN EN 15804+A2:2019 and STN EN ISO 14025 standards, including third-party verification for maximum value.
This declaration meets the requirements of systems such as LEED v4 and BREEAM International NC v6 / v7, which allows points to be earned in these certifications.
The service includes LCA analysis (Life Cycle Assessment) and product optimisation for sustainability. EPD provides manufacturers with an overview of the environmental impact of their products and increases their competitiveness in the market.
Thanks to inclusion in international databases such as the International EPD System (ENVIRONDEC), EPD Square or EPD Norge, products gain global visibility.
